“People are just about as happy as they make up their mind to be”                           - Abraham Lincoln

It’s how you judge your feelings and decide what to do with it. I hate this stubborn habit. Keep thinking and reminding myself about unfinished tasks. It’s like wearing an ugly and bulky necklace around my tiny neck. I still can manage to do anything else. But this annoying necklace resists me to enjoy my day freely and happily.

This semester, I learned about Paradigm. How paradigm affects the way we act. I’m suffering from this so-called “Paradigm Paralysis”. So what’s the remedy? According to Joel Baker (the one who talked so much about Paradigm), we must open up our minds to new ideas and think in contrast. Do something beyond our ordinary. So today I decided to apply his approach to my personal situation. I reluctantly left all those reviews, assignments, and lecture notes behind. Had a wonderful time, enjoy sceneries, cherish every bit of moment and not even think about those unfinished tasks. Aha! it works. At least 70% of me feeling a lot better. So Mr Joel Baker, your theory is applicable. I’m smiling while writing this piece of entry. I’m writing not-so-like me.

What I learned today is our feelings have an outstanding influence to our mind (or way of thinking). We cannot perform at our best if our mind is distracted. How true.. the inner part of us should always be treated as our top priority.

Peringatan untuk diri : Maka itulah, soal keimanan itu soal dalaman hati yang memberi impak cara pemikiran kita dan Penciptanya.
